Dr. Saritha Ranabothu is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the section of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).

A native of India, Dr. Saritha Ranabothu received her undergraduate degree in 2002 from Sri Chaitanya Junior College, India. She received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, Telangana, India in 2008. She worked as a Jr Resident at Vijaya hospital, India from 2008 to 2011. She studied pediatrics internship at Driscoll Children’s hospital, Corpus Christi, Tx from 2011-2012 and completed Pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia in 2014. She then completed her Pediatric Nephrology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY in 2017. Dr. Ranabothu joined the medical staff of ACH in 2017 and currently serves as full time pediatric nephrologist.

She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology.

She specializes in chronic kidney disease, end stage renal disease and kidney transplantation. Her primary research interest is to improve longevity and quality of life of kidney transplant patients.

She is a member of American Society of Transplantation, American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, International Pediatric Nephrology Association, and American Academy of Pediatrics.
