Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Old Dominion University. He also attended Texas A&M University Health Science Center to complete his PhD in Neuroscience. He then attended medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed residence in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at the University of Oklahoma and a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Johnson is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery. Dr. Johnson is a current member of the Cleft, Vascular, Velopharyngeal dysfunction and Craniofacial teams. Additionally, Dr. Johnson is committed to providing cleft care to underserved populations and has volunteered his time and surgical skills on mission trips in other countries to provide free cleft lip and palate care.
