We are studying how brain waves and structures in children relate to behavior, how you think and body weight, and how the brain's work changes under stress. The study team will use painless methods to measure your child's brain function. Additionally, you will be asked to complete some questionnaires about your family and your child.
Participant must be between 9 to 10 years old with a parent/ guardian present at the study visit. Participants cannot have Type 1 Diabetes (assessed by medical history), take medications that influence attention/memory (assessed by medical history), have a clinical diagnosis of neurodevelopmental and/or mood disorders (assessed by medical history), or the presence of significant magnetic artifacts due to electronic, magnetic or metallic implants (e.g pins, screws, shrapnel remains, surgical clips, artificial heart valves, cochlear implants, vascular stents, or pacemakers), or permanent make-up or tattoos made with metallic dyes.
