Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric neurosurgeon. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.

Neurosurgery Program and Position Highlights

Join a dynamic team at Arkansas Children’s of three attending pediatric neurosurgeons, two advanced practice nurses and three specialty nurses providing nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally. Other highlights include:

Qualifications for this position:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Ability to be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arkansas
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited neurosurgery residency program
  • Completion of an ACPNF accredited pediatric neurosurgery fellowship program
  • Board eligible or board certified (with recognition of focused practice in pediatric neurosurgery) by the American Board of Neurosurgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery
